Welcome to Canterbury Bicycle Club (CBC)
We are a friendly club of road cyclists who enjoy riding together on club rides, sportives and other challenge rides. A few of our members race or hill-climb but the majority enjoy social group rides.
We run several rides on a Saturday morning leaving at 9:00 from The Millers Arms, Mill Lane, Canterbury CT1 2AW, arriving back before lunchtime, when many riders stop for a coffee and a chat. CBC rides are non-drop rides and groups ride together or wait at the top of hills. Not really suitable for mountain bikes or hybrid bikes.
A question we often asked is “how fast do I need to be?” Our club rides are not suitable for beginner cyclists or leisurely sightseeing, but each week we have many groups setting off at different speeds, catering for a wide range of road cyclists.
